Delivery Options and Information

About the 'Leave Safe' Delivery Option

Select 'Leave Safe' if you think you won't be in when the parcel arrives. You must provide instructions when the delivery company email you with your delivery confirmation, which is sent to you both the day before and in the morning on the day of delivery.

If you have previously left leave safe instructions with either DPD or Evri before, please check that these settings are still relevant (you can do this in the DPD or Evri app). Your leave safe instructions will apply to all of your deliveries (from any retailer), not just our deliveries.

If the driver doesn’t have access to your specified safe place or no instructions exist, they may decide not to leave your parcel if it’s not deemed to be safe or it may be left with a neighbour.

We recommend setting your instructions via the Evri or DPD app.

By selecting a leave safe delivery, you accept responsibility for the parcel once it is left at your property.

About the 'Signed For' Option

The driver will attempt to hand you the parcel. If you aren't in, you can provide instructions via the links in the delivery confirmation email the delivery company will send you both the day before your delivery and on the morning of your delivery.

If you have a leave safe preference saved in the app then this will mean that your Signed For delivery can be left safe if you are not available.

Further Delivery Information

I Prefer Evri / I Prefer DPD

We offer Evri for orders under 14kg and DPD for orders over 14kg.

For orders under 14kg, you can switch to a DPD delivery for an additional £1 over the Evri charge.

We don't currently offer the ability to switch to an Evri delivery for orders over 14kg.

Express Delivery (1-2 Working Days)

If you order before 2pm and upgrade to 1-2 working days delivery, your order will be shipped the same day. So if you order at 1pm on Monday, you can expect to receive your order on Tuesday or Wednesday. If you order after 2pm on Monday, you can expect to receive your order on Wednesday or Thursday. Please note we may remove express shipping temporarily in certain busy periods.

Please note:
- We do not offer delivery on a weekend, so Saturday and Sunday don't count.
- We may be unable to offer Express delivery to hard to reach postcodes, such as those in more rural areas.

Delivery Speed

Deliveries are made during the working week (Monday to Friday). Weekends and bank holidays do not count in the delivery timeframes. We do not currently offer the option for weekend deliveries.

Out of Areas Deliveries

Additional charges may apply to out of areas postcodes due to the additional costs of shipping to these areas (e.g. Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man). See the bottom of this page for further information.

Incorrect Addresses

If you provide an incorrect delivery address at point or order there will be a £7.50 charge for any failed deliveries as a result of this. If you realise that you have input an incorrect address please contact us as soon as possible to give us the best chance of getting this changed.

Failed or Missed Deliveries

The delivery company will make a maximum of two delivery attempts before returning the order back to us, if the order is then sent back to us there will be a £7.50 charge for the failed delivery attempt.

Delivering to Business Addresses

The delivery company may deliver outside of the standard working hours, please bear this in mind if delivering to a business address. There will be a £7.50 charge if, after two failed delivery attempts, the order is sent back to us.

Item Availability

If for any reason part of your order is unavailable within the delivery timescales, we will ship all available items and send the unavailable item as soon as possible.

Delivery Notifications

The delivery company will email you the day before your parcel is sent out to let you know. They may offer options in the email to have your order redelivered, delivered to a neighbour and more options (depending on the courier and the delivery method you have chosen).

Package Weights

Most of our orders are shipped as bags rater than in boxes. This not only saves on cost, it's more environmentally friendly as we use less packaging. If you are unable to carry the bag when it arrives, please ask a neighbour or family member for help or consider opening the bag and decanting the contents nito other containers.

Buying From Outside The UK

Although we don't currently deliver outside of the areas mentioned on this page, you can purchase a gift on our website from abroad for delivery to someone in the UK.

To do this, shop as normal and at the final stage of the checkout, you will find a section ('5. Billing Address') to enter your current billing address. It may still say United Kingdom as the country, if it does please ignore this field your payment will still go through.

Please note we may add or remove delivery options in order for us to be able to provide the quality service our customers expect from us. As a result, in extremely busy periods, we may extend our delivery timeframes, remove express delivery, or both in order to meet demand. This will be clearly marked in the checkout.
