About Our Original Flavour Half Coconuts
High in energy, our half coconuts are a nutritious mix of suet, seeds and cereals, stuffed into a coconut shell. The suet used is 100% human grade (although please don't eat it!).
Each coconut weighs 200g on average and are delivered in a box made from recycled materials. With coconuts being a natural product, the size of them differs and the colouring of both the coconut and suet may differ slightly from coconut to cocunut.
When to feed
Our suet coconuts can be fed all year round. Suets help provide birds with energy during the winter months and similarly energy during the key breading/fledgling season.
How to feed
Our suet coconuts are so easy to feed. Just taking them out of the box and hang from a feeding hook or branch using the included string.
How to store
Suets can be prone to melting during warmer months, so we recommend storing them in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight (below 14°C).
Birds you might attract to your garden
Most garden birds will eat suets, but they are particulalr y enjoyed by: blue tits, long-tailed tits, coal tits, robins, great spotted woodpeckers, the finch families and many more.
