About Our 5kg Whole and Split Peanuts

The small size of this bag makes it ideal for smaller gardens or smaller feeders. Take a look at our larger bags for bigger gardens and very hungry birds. The larger bags represent a bigger saving

High in energy, our Whole and Split Peanuts for birds are a nutritious and satisfying food source for a variety of wild birds. Packed with natural oils and protein, they’re ideal for supporting birds throughout the year. The split peanuts make it easier for birds to access the energy-rich nut inside, helping both adults and fledglings fuel up with less effort.

All of our peanut products have been aflatoxin tested. Aflatoxins can be extremely harmful to birds so we take extra care to make certain that our peanuts are completely safe.

When to feed

Our Whole and Split Peanuts are suitable for feeding all year round. They're especially beneficial during colder months and breeding season when birds need extra energy. Always feed peanuts from a suitable feeder to ensure bird safety, particularly for younger or smaller birds.

How to feed

Our Whole and Split Peanuts are perfect for use in a mesh peanut feeder, which allows birds to safely peck at them without risk. They can also be offered on bird tables or ground feeders for larger species. For fledglings or softer beaks, consider offering crushed peanuts to make feeding easier.

How to store

All of our bird foods should be stored in an airtight container to preserve them for as long as possible. If you do not have an airtight container, a cool dry place will suffice, but we do recommend a container to help keep them fresh for as long as possible.
