About Our 300 Premium Fat Balls

Our best fat balls, made from the highest grade of beef suet to ever bird has a happy beak! Each ball is filled with enough energy and nutrition to survive and thrive. The Premium ball is a favourite of many garden birds as it doesn't have any nasty fillers. Weighing a hefty 85g of our finest suet, the extra fat content in these premium fat balls ensures a wider range of wild birds will flock to your garden time and time again when offered these spherical treats, you won't be able to keep them away.

Is there a smaller size?

Our 300 Premium Suets Balls come as two boxes each containing 150 suet balls and offers the best value, We also offer the option of a single 150 Suet Ball Box. If the box is a little too heavy, we recommend opening it up at the door when it arrives and taking some out rather than attempting to carry it.

When to feed

Our Premium Fat Balls are suitable for feeding throughout the different seasons. However, they are a great feed during the colder months due to the high fat content. The fat provides an additional boost of energy needed to help the birds survive the frosty nights.

How to feed

Our 300 Premium Fat Balls can be fed to your garden birds from a range of feeding options; these include: a fat ball feeder, a ground feeder or from a bird table. We recommend feeding the fat balls from a feeder with a protective lid as the high fat content will cause balls to crumble in the rain.

How to store

All of our bird foods should be stored in an airtight container to preserve them for as long as possible. If you do not have an airtight container, a cool dry place will suffice, but we do recommend a container to help keep them in their best quality for as long as possible. We also recommend storing Fat Balls indoors during the Winter period to prevent them from hardening too much.

Important Information

Our fat balls leave the warehouse in perfect condition. However due to being bumped about as they travel to you in the back of a van, up to 20% may be broken up in the box on arrival. These broken balls will still attract birds and can be fed from most fat ball feeders or mixed in with a seed mix.

Please note, the core raw ingredients of beef dripping and roasted ground nuts are currently sourced from various suppliers and therefore can vary from light golden brown to a light brown in colour, this is due to the varying manufacturing processes used. There may be a slight variance in colour, however the same percentages of differing ingredients, and the high level of quality remains the same.

Our Premium Suet Fat Balls are for beaks only, not suitable for human consumption.
