When to feed
Our chicken feeds are suitable for feeding all year round.
How to feed
Feed layers mash dry or with a little water in. During the colder months you may wish to use warmer (not hot) water. As a guide, we suggest feeding approximately 125g of mash per day. Remove any uneaten food to help ensure your hens stay healthy by only eating fresh food.
Always ensure a clean supply of drinking water and keep them clean. It's also a good idea to ensure a good source of grit is available to your hens.
How to store
All of our foods should be stored in an airtight container to preserve them for as long as possible. If you do not have an airtight container, a cool dry place will suffice, but we do recommend a container to help keep them fresh for as long as possible.
