About Our 20kg Henergise Chicken Feed
Our 20kg Henergise Boost Mix for Chickens and Poultry is an excellent complementary supplement for free range hens. It's highly nutritious, tasty packed full of vitamins and minerals offering health benefits to your chickens.
This mix has been carefully formulated, containing everything your chickens need including both Oyster Shell and Flint Grit which are packed full of calcium for strong bones and better shell quality.
Ingredients and Composition
Composition: Kibbled Maize, Kibbled Wheat, Kibbled Peas, Sunflower Hearts, Red Dari, Raisins, Black Sunflower Seed, Oyster Shell (5%), Flint Grit (5%), Vegetable Oil.
Analytical Constituents: Crude Oil & Fats 14.17%, Crude Ash 13.5%, Crude Protein 11.6%, Crude Fibre 2.8%, Lysine 0.44%, Methionine 0.17%, Sodium 0.03%.
When to feed
Our chicken feeds are suitable for feeding all year round, although we do suggest feeding it in an afternoon to allow for normal feed intake in the morning.
How to feed
Henergise Boost Mix can be fed as a scratch feed or from a separate feeder. We'd suggest scattering it on the ground to allow your birds to forage for their food. Foraging and pecking to pick out their favourite ingredients will also help to relieve boredom and stress levels within your hens - which helps to reduce the chances of bullying and feather pecking. We suggest you offer each bird approximately 30g of boost mix per day. Always provide a clean, fresh supply of water.
How to store
All of our foods should be stored in an airtight container to preserve them for as long as possible. If you do not have an airtight container, a cool dry place will suffice, but we do recommend a container to help keep them fresh for as long as possible.
