About Our 12.55kg Autumn and Winter Mix

Autumn and Winter can be extremely tough for wild birds with natural occurring food in short supply and extreme temperatures. We have specially formulated this Autumn & Winter mix to give our feathered friends an extra boost during this tough period of the year. This mix contains protein-rich and oil-rich ingredients, providing essential weight gain as the birds require additional energy to survive the harsh winter weather.

When to feed

This affordable mix is suitable for year round feeding, but has been specially designed for Autumn and Winter feeding. Featuring all the best ingredients, such as Dried Mealworms, oil-rich Black Sunflower Seed and Millet to keep wild birds in the peak of health ready for the following breeding season.

How to feed

Our Autumn & Winter Seed Mix can be fed all year round, but preferably during the colder months in either; a seed feeder, a ground feeder or on a bird table.

How to store

All of our bird foods should be stored in an airtight container to preserve them for as long as possible. If you do not have an airtight container, a cool dry place will suffice, but we do recommend a container to help keep them fresh for as long as possible.

Birds you might attract to your garden

Most garden birds will be attracted to the protein and oil rich ingredients in this mix, particularly the Robin who favours Dried Mealworms, but you can expect to see the following in your garden: Blackbird, Blue Tit, Chaffinch, Coal Tit, Collared Dove, Dunnock, Great Tit, Greenfinch, House Sparrow, Long-Tailed Tit, Robin, Song Thrush, Starling, Wood Pigeon and Wren.

Wheat, White Millet, Black Sunflower, Naked Oats, Kibbled Maize, Flaked Wheat, Sunflower Hearts, Kibbled Peanuts, Cut Wheat, Dried Mealworms and Soya Oil.
