Suet To Go Insect Suet Balls are packed with essential nutrients and high-energy fats that help support overall bird health. Each 85g ball provides the fuel birds need for strength, warmth, and vitality - especially during colder months or nesting season. Nutritious, reliable, and loved by garden visitors, they’re a simple way to support wildlife and keep your garden full of life.
When to feed
Our Suet To Go Fat Balls are perfect for year-round feeding, but they truly shine during the colder months. Packed with high levels of energy-rich fat, they give birds the vital boost they need to stay warm and strong through frosty nights. An essential winter treat that helps support survival when natural food is scarce.
How to feed
Our Insect Suet Balls can be fed to your garden birds from a range of feeding options; these include: a fat ball feeder, a ground feeder or from a bird table. We recommend feeding the fat balls from a feeder with a protective lid as the high fat content will cause balls to crumble in the rain.
How to store
All of our bird foods should be stored in an airtight container to preserve them for as long as possible. If you do not have an airtight container, a cool dry place will suffice, but we do recommend a container to help keep them in their best quality for as long as possible. We also recommend storing Fat Balls indoors during the Winter period to prevent them from hardening too much.
Birds you might attract to your garden
Suet is rich in energy and attracts a variety of birds. Look out for these feathered visitors:
Blackbirds, Blue Tits, Chaffinches, Coal Tits, Collared Doves, Dunnocks, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Great Tits, Greenfinches, House Sparrows, Nuthatches, Robins, Thrushes, Wood Pigeons, Wrens
Ingredients?
Wheat Flour, Fats & Oils (25%), Mixed Seeds, Peanut Flour, Insects, Mealworms.
Important Information
Our fat balls leave the warehouse in perfect condition. However due to being bumped about as they travel to you in the back of a van, up to 10% may be broken up in the box on arrival. These broken balls will still attract birds and can be fed from most fat ball feeders or mixed in with a seed mix.
Our Insect Suet Fat Balls are for beaks only, not suitable for human consumption.
Our delivery couldn't be simpler. We offer free delivery over £50 - that's it!
